2026 National Youth Drone Innovation Education Competition—Shenzhen Qualifying RoundThe event was successfully held at Shenzhen Longgang District Experimental School.
Nearly 500 young competitors from schools across the city took to the field to compete, showcasing their skilled flight control abilities and high spirits as they soared through the competition. The high-speed obstacle course was packed with thrills, while the team challenge events tested the participants’ seamless coordination. The competition was filled with nonstop excitement throughout, vividly showcasing the strong momentum and solid foundation for the development of youth drone innovation and sports in Shenzhen.

1 Opening Ceremony
Before the competition began, all participants and guests stood solemnly as the national anthem was played and sung, officially kicking off the event.

The competition features three categories: A, B, and C. Categories A and B are each divided into four subcategories—boys and girls in elementary school and boys and girls in middle school—while Category C is divided only into two subcategories: elementary school and middle school.

3 About the Drone Innovation Education Competition
National Youth Drone Innovation Education CompetitionOrganized by the General Administration of Sport of China’s Aeronautics Management Center and the Chinese Air Sports Association, the event is a fully optimized and upgraded version of its predecessor, the “Fly to Beijing, Fly to Space” drone competition.
The competition has been included in the Aviation Management Center’s list of core events, with comprehensive upgrades to its competitive specifications and professional standards. It features a total of 12 competition events across four categories—speed racing, mission challenges, drone soccer, and programming—designed to accommodate youth of all school ages. As the most authoritative and widely recognized official competition in China’s youth drone industry, it has also become a premier platform for drone enthusiasts to pursue their dreams in science and technology innovation.

They performed with composure in each competition category, fully demonstrating the professional results of Zhongxin Hang’s youth science and technology innovation education program.The drone soccer team from the Zhongxinhang Drone Academy at Bantian Elementary School competed in the drone soccer tournament. This team, which underwent unified training under the guidance of Zhongxinhang, delivered an outstanding performance on the field, The seven teams from the Zhongxin Hang Bantian Elementary School Drone Soccer Team won first prize, third prize, and an Excellence Award in the Shenzhen regional round of the 2026 National Youth Drone Innovation Education Competition, and will represent Guangdong Province in the national competition.
