What is Fly-Box
Fly-Box is a hardware device of flight data developed for real-time positioning of UAVs, which can realize real-time cloud transmission of UAV flight data through mobile network.
Usage of Fly-Box
The AOPA In-Sight Pilot or Over-Sight Pilot Rating Certificate of Competency held can be renewed through the personal flight experience log time accumulated on the cloud system, which is greater than 100 hours.
How to use Fly-Box
Before using the equipment, the purchaser (or user) must register an account in the FIY-BOX official small program (U-FSC), upload the relevant documents of the drone pilot for authentication (students do not need to be authenticated), add the FIY-BOX after authentication and bind it to the drone, and after the binding is successful, it will provide the customer with services such as flight records, accumulated flight data, and so on.
If the personal flight experience accumulated on the cloud system is greater than 100 hours, within three months of the expiration of the validity period of the certificate of competency held by him/her, he/she can renew his/her certificate of competency held by AOPA in-visible pilot or over-visible pilot rating by clicking on the certificate of competency renewal application through the UAV cloud system, and by updating his/her personal information, without having to take and pass the certificate of competency renewal examination.

1. The price of the equipment is $398 per unit, including the cost of the equipment hardware, three years of communication service costs, and equipment mailing costs;
2. Upon expiration of the three-year communication service fee for the equipment, the equipment may continue to be used and the cost of the communication service shall be paid by the user of the equipment;
3. One month before the expiration of the service of the equipment, the management platform will send a renewal SMS reminder to the cell phone registered and reserved by the purchaser (or user) of the equipment on the platform, and the purchaser (or user) shall pay all the fees of the equipment for the following year in one lump sum in the official small program before the deadline for the renewal of the fee notified to the purchaser (or user);
